A Family Bathroom Gets a Glow Up

Earlier this year, some longtime friends completed a major transformation of their 40 square foot bathroom, with the support of SLEEK.

We wanted to convey an airy vibe, befitting of a shower that looks out to the Pacific Ocean. For this, we enlisted Fireclay Tile’s Quick Ship 3x9” tile in Alberta Blue Satin for the shower, accented with AKDO’s Ivy Calacatta mosaic tile on the floor and backsplash.

To keep the feeling “grounded in nature” we used medium oak tones for the vanity and custom medicine cabinet wrap shelf.

Hardware finishes were done in brushed nickel, which seems to be having a resurgence after years of matte black and gold.

A piece of modern art from my personal collection completed the look.
