With Valentine's Day just around the corner, the quest for the perfect romantic reservation begins. Whether you're planning an intimate evening or a grand gesture, San Francisco has enchanting options for every budget. SLEEK has curated a diverse list, from charming bistros to 20-course tasting menus, ensuring that every couple can find the ideal spot to celebrate their love.


At Sorrel, Chef Alexander Hong offers local-Californian inspired cuisine with authentic & vibrant Italian influences that earned 1 Michelin Star and a James Beard Nomination. They believe in only working with superior, fresh, organic & local ingredients that Bay Area farmers markets and their rooftop garden have to offer.

For this special event, they are offering a tasting menu and able to accommodate Pescatarian, Vegetarian, and Gluten Free diets.

Unique sushi restaurant offering high quality tasting menus on Valencia Street.

“Elevate your Valentine's Day with Shio's exclusive 9-course tasting menu. Immerse yourselves in a culinary journey featuring 12 premium sushi nigiri or an 8 piece handroll temaki sushi, including uni and fatty tuna, alongside soup, three appetizers, and a delectable entree. Conclude the evening on a sweet note with a delightful dessert.”

Boho is a charming and cozy neighborhood restaurant in the Marina serving dinner and weekend brunch.

“Executive Chef Andrei Busuev will be curating a 4-course Prix Fixe menu. Indulge in lobster salad with citrus, mango and stracciatella, or panisse with asparagus, quail eggs and truffles. Entree is a choice of Sea Bass with wild mushrooms or a juicy Filet Mignon with pommes puree and glazed carrots or roasted cauliflower with maitake and truffles. For dessert, choose from macarons or chocolate mousse with candied orange or their famous pavlova. Caviar, lobster tails, truffles, oysters and all kind of drinks will be also available.”

Geoff Davis’ long-awaited Oakland spot is fueled by family history, stories, and spirit — from both the chef and the team. You feel that light everywhere, from the mural outside to the church pews inside, and most of all, the personal interpretations of soul food on the plates.

“[For Valentines], we are turning ourselves into a Jazz club, of sorts, with table cloths, tuxedos and a curated playlist featuring our favorite classic Jazz albums played cover to cover. Menu is four courses but has additional supplemental courses you can add (subject to small seasonal changes) and wine pairing and our full wine list is available.”

Tucked inside Minnesota Street Project, a contemporary art gallery space within San Francisco's historic Dogpatch district, Besharam is an Indian restaurant showcasing regional Gujarati cuisine from chef/owner Heena Patel. Roughly translated to mean "shameless," Besharam features Heena's bold interpretation of the flavors and dishes that were prevalent throughout her childhood in India, playfully reimagined within a California context.

Che Fico is an Italian Taverna in San Francisco’s Nopa neighborhood. The food focuses on Italian cuisine through the lens of California. The restaurant itself inhabits a building with over 100 years of history in San Francisco and was originally built as a stable after the great fire in 1906.

“Frutti di Mare: Uni Toast, Tsar Nicoli Caviar, Poached Prawn / Raviolo: Tierra Vegetable Farm Beet, Dungeness Crab, Meyer Lemon / Anatra Arrosto: Dry Aged Duck Breast, Cabbage, Turnip, Perigord Truffle / Capesante di Mare: Seared Scallop, Baby Carrot, Rojas Family Farm Citrus, Scallop Jus.”

Nightbird is an elegant, boutique restaurant in the heart of San Francisco that offers a whimsical prix-fixe dining experience. Adjacent to the dining room and hidden down the side alley is Linden Room, a chic and intimate speakeasy-type cocktail lounge offering stylish and creative libations.

Angler is a sea-life focused Michelin-starred restaurant from Saison Hospitality on the EmbarcadeAro waterfront with views of the expansive wood burning hearth and the San Francisco Bay.

“Celebrate February 14th with our Valentine’s Day 5-Course Cook For You, where each dish is touched by the fire and intended to be shared. We recommend our wine progression, crafted exclusively for this menu, so you can sit back and enjoy your company while we curate a truly special experience. Highlights will include Angler Caviar, Bluefin Tuna, House Dry-Aged Petaluma Beef, Lobster Rice, the Angler Potato, and a Chocolate & Marshmallow dessert for a sweet finish.”

Greens offers imaginative vegetarian cuisine that features local and seasonal produce and the finest ingredients from our organic farm Green Gulch. Located in Landmark Building A of the historic Fort Mason Center, Greens is home to some of the most dramatic views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Marin Headlands that San Francisco has to offer.

Rustic neighborhood bistro offering regional Italian food with an emphasis is on homemade pastas in Russian Hill.

Four course menu of antipasti, primi of caramelized sunchoke tortelloni, squid ink fettuccine, or wild nettle taglionini. For Secondi, choose from red wine braised short ribs, black sea bass, or a beet root risotto. The meal with finish with a luscious chocolate torte.

Technique driven tasting menu inspired by global flavors in a renovated warehouse space with moody lighting.

Snail Bar is a natural wine bar and bottle shop located in the Temescal district of Oakland.

Casual bistro in the Mission with counter seating specializing in sushi handrolls, known as temaki.

“Indulge in a dinner featuring eight exquisite handrolls per guest complemented by pickled wasabi. Mijoté is a contemporary French bistro serving natural wine in the Mission.
